John E. Ross, III, D.M.D.
Dr. John E. Ross, III grew up in Clemson, SC. He is a 1974 graduate of Clemson University, earning a bachelors degree in Zoology. He completed his dental education in 1977 at the College of Dental Medicine of MUSC, in Charleston, SC. Having grown up in Clemson, he chose to return to this area upon graduation and open his own practice. He has been practicing here since 1977.
Dr. Jere Ross stays active in the Clemson Community. He and his wife, Rosemary, are longtime members of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church. He has served as a senior active member in the Clemson Rotary Club, a board member of the Daniel High Blue and Gold Booster Club, and on Clemson University’s Alumni National Council. He has also served as President and Treasurer of the Fort Hill Clemson Club. Currently, he serves as Treasurer of the Old Stone Church and Cemetery Commission, and on the Advisory Board of First Citizens Bank.
Dr. Ross is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Tri-County Dental Association (President, 1986-1987). He has served on the Piedmont District Peer Review Board.
Dr. Jere Ross and his wife have two daughters, Mary Frances and Lauren, and have four grandchildren, Mary Ellis Knapp, Charlie Knapp, Rose Collie, and Evelyn Collie.
